Focus and Scope

Mission: The Revista FSA vehicle for scientific and cultural diffusion, its mission is "to publish original and unpublished scientific papers that contribute to the development of research and critical thinking in the humanities".

Focus and Scope: The Revista FSA is a quarterly multidisciplinary journal published by Faculdade Santo Agostinho, emphasizing knowledge about the Humanities.

Peer Review Process

REVISTA FSA COMMITMENTS

1. The reviews of the articles will be in Triple Review System, in which an initial assessment of the Editor (reviewing admission or desk review) will take place to see if the article has the Obligations of articles listed below and, subsequently, the system Double Blind Review (blind peer review) that will be performed by evaluators area of the submitted article;

2. Up to 30 days to communicate the result to the authors of the review of admission (desk review), which defines whether the manuscript will go through the review process of the journal;

3. Up to 120 days, to be referred to the authors of the first opinion of each of the reviewers in the case of manuscripts that have been accepted into the desk review;

4. Articles written by the editor-in-chief shall not be published, even if the authorship is shared with other authors;

5. In case of publication authored by leaders of the sponsoring institutions of the journal or any of the members of the Editorial Policy Committee or the Scientific Advisory Board Article, shall be clearly mentioned in the editorial piece that shows the respective issue of the journal, as occurred review of the manuscript, emphasizing independence and exemption from its process;

6. Each year, the fraction of articles originating from a particular institution (ie , with at least one author, teacher or student, her bound) should not exceed 15% of the total articles published.

 

Will only accept unpublished works.

 

Articles will be reviewed by the Revista FSA Editorial Board, being published by the selected criteria of quality and relevance of the study.

The paper should be formatted in A4 , bottom (2 cm) higher margins (3 cm), left (3 cm), right (2 cm), 1.5 line spacing, justified using text editor MS Word version 6 or higher, Times New Roman font size 12 and minimum of 12 pages and a maximum of 25 pages, including charts, tables, notes, charts, illustrations and references. Put the title at the beginning of the work, omitting the identification(s) of author(s).

 

After the title, include an abstract in Portuguese with about 15 lines or 250 words, without paragraphs containing aims, method, results and conclusion of the work, as well as a minimum of three and maximum of five keywords. All abstracts must be the English version (abstract, including the title of the article and the key words). Articles submitted in Spanish or French should have an abstract and key words in the original language, in English and in Portuguese.

The body text should consist of introduction, development and closing statements, and prepared in accordance with ABNT.

Items can be prepared individually or in groups, covering a maximum of five authors, authors can compete undergraduates, graduates, students of Graduate and researchers and teachers.

The publication of articles or assessment will not be paid under any circumstances.

 

Publication Frequency

The frequency is quarterly.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public knowledge provides largest worldwide democratization of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
