Logística Verde: A Influência da Orientação Estratégica e da Concorrência de Mercado nas Empresas de Capital Aberto no Brasil / Green Logistics: The Influence of Strategic Orientation and Market Competition in Publicly Traded Companies in Brazil
Abstract
As descobertas deste estudo evidenciam as práticas empresariais relacionadas à sustentabilidade e logística, despertando preocupações ambientais entre indivíduos, organizações e sociedade.

ABSTRACT
The objective of this article is to examine the influence of market competition and strategic green logistics guidelines on publicly traded companies in Brazil. The findings of this study highlight the business practices related to sustainability and logistics, arousing environmental concerns among individuals, organizations and society. This study carried out an exploratory research in the most representative companies in the Brazilian market. For the data analysis, the statistical method of modeling of structural equations (SEM) with partial least squares (PLS) was used. The implications of this study are focused on explaining the motivation that drives proactive decisions about green logistics and sustainability in organizations. In the results obtained in this article it is revealed that the strategic orientation influences significantly in the adoption of green logistics initiatives in Brazil, but the market competition does not. The present study presents insights of greater incentives to the bibliography of green logistics in the modality of the Social Sciences. In addition to contributing to environmental management literature in the context of green and sustainable development, encouraging green practices between industries and society for the goals of achieving the sustainability agenda.
