A Temática Competências nos Estudos Organizacionais: Uma Revisão Integrativa / The Competencies’ Theme in Organizational Studies: An Integrative Review

Resumen


Com o objetivo de analisar como a temática das competências é abordada nos estudos organizacionais, realizou-se uma revisão integrativa de literatura, utilizando as bases de dados Web of Science e Scopus. Foram analisados 126 artigos, classificados em três eixos de análise, são eles: a lógica das competências para o desenvolvimento de pessoas, competências associadas às categorias profissionais, e temas recorrentes e emergentes envolvendo competências. Observou-se a prevalência de estudos quantitativos em organizações privadas sob influência das correntes teóricas americana, inglesa, francesa e integradora. A profissão docente teve maior atenção das pesquisas relacionadas à educação e a de médico no contexto da saúde. As competências empreendedoras e as competências de gestão estão entre as temáticas recorrentes, enquanto a interdisciplinaridade e competências socioambientais entre os temas emergentes. O estudo apresenta um panorama das publicações sobre a temática e aponta caminhos para futuras pesquisas.

ABSTRACT

 

Aiming to analyze how the topic of competencies is addressed in organizational studies, an integrative literature review was carried out using the Web of Science and Scopus databases. 126 articles were analyzed, classified in three axes of analysis: the logic of competencies for the development of people, competencies associated to professional categories, and recurrent and emerging themes involving competencies. It was observed the prevalence of quantitative studies in private organizations under the influence of American, English, French and integrating theoretical currents. The teaching profession received more attention from research related to education and that of a doctor in the context of health. Entrepreneurial skills and management skills are among the recurrent themes, while interdisciplinarity and socio-environmental skills are among the emerging themes. The study presents an overview of the publications on the theme and points to avenues for future research.
