Performance Baseada na Empresa Foco da Cadeia de Suprimentos: um Estudo Sobre Fornecedor de Segunda Camada / Performance Based in Focus Company Supply Chain: a Second Tier Supplier Study

Mauro Vivaldini

ABSTRACT

Based on the analysis of a case between a LSP (Logistic Service Provider), responsible for the logistical operations of a large Fast Food Company in Brazil, and its maintenance service provider, the study presents the relationship between a supplier of First tier and second tier. It is sought to understand what mechanisms are used to establish performance criteria for a supply chain-focused operation. Conflicts in the approaches to supply chain relationships, especially the 'win-win' view, assessment methods, and performance evaluation are discussed in the form of a case study. The result presented is an example of practical possibilities that can contribute to the understanding of these points, as well as give support to ideas and studies for a theme still in evolution.

Key words: Supply Chain. Logistic Operator. Outsourcing.
