Efeito da Adesão das Certificações Iso 9001 No Volume de Exportações Brasileiras / Effect of Adhesion of Iso 9001 Certifications in the Volume of Brazilian Exports

Resumo

Como forma de vencer a competitividade do mercado atual e as exigências impostas pelos consumidores, as empresas buscam por produtos de maior qualidade e maior eficiência dos seus processos. A padronização das atividades desenvolvidas dentro da organização pode auxiliar neste quesito. A International Organization for Standardization (ISO) é uma certificação internacional com o objetivo de unificar os padrões industriais. Por ser uma certificação internacional, auxilia as empresas na sua adequação para a entrada nos mercados internacionais e na exportação dos seus produtos. Desta forma, este artigo analisa o efeito da implementação da ISO 9001 pelas empresas no volume de exportações brasileiras e nos fatores econômicos do país, por meio de uma regressão linear múltipla. As variáveis utilizadas foram o número de empresas certificadas nos últimos 10 anos, o volume de exportações, o Produto Interno Bruto (PIB) e a taxa de juros SELIC do Brasil no mesmo período de tempo. O software SPSS foi utilizado para rodar o modelo, que mostrou o efeito da certificação no cenário econômico do país e demonstrou o seu papel no desenvolvimento e crescimento do Brasil.

ABSTRACT

As a way to overcome the competitiveness of the current market and the demands imposed by consumers, companies are looking for products of higher quality and greater efficiency of their processes. The standardization of the activities developed within the organization can help in this matter. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an international certification with the aim of unifying industrial standards. As an international certification, it assists companies in their suitability for entering international markets and exporting their products. In this way, this article analyzes the effect of the implementation of ISO 9001 by the companies in the volume of Brazilian exports and in the economic factors of the country through a multiple linear regression. The variables used were the number of companies certified in the last 10 years, the volume of exports, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and the SELIC interest rate of Brazil in the same period. SPSS software was used to run the model, which showed the effect of certification on the country's economic scenario and demonstrated its role in the development and growth of Brazil.
