Estudo Bibliométrico Sobre Plataforma Digital no Campo da Administração / Bibliometric Study on the Digital Platform in the Area of Administration
Abstract

ABSTRACT
The present study aimed to identify and describe the international academic production about the digital platform in the Administration area, considering the time frame of January 2015 to December 2019. For this purpose, a bibliometric analysis was conducted of 137 articles obtained from the SCOPUS database, selected as relevant to present the current profile of scientific production on the theme. The results pointed progressively high rates of publication of articles about digital platform in the Administration area, mainly in the areas of organizational strategies, innovation management, marketing, work relations, entrepreneurship and regulation. Another important topic was the identification of journals with the most publications of articles on the digital platform, as well as countries, universities and researchers that most collaborated to development of the theme. Academic collaboration networks between countries, universities and scientists were also detected, with prominence for researchers affiliated to North American and European universities. Furthermore, the articles on the theme were mostly empirical, with a qualitative approach, of a descriptive type. Finally, this paper provided updated information on the profile of international academic production about the digital platform in the Administration area, contributing to a better organization of future research in the area.
