Aplicação da Teoria de Aprendizagem Transformativa em Estudantes da Área de Negócios / Application of Transformative Learning Theory to Business Students

Abstract


A inserção de teorias comportamentais em cursos da área de negócios torna-se pauta para melhorias conceituais, procedimentais e atitudinais dos estudantes. Assim, o objetivo do estudo foi analisar a partir da aplicação da Teoria de Aprendizagem Transformativa os aspectos predominantes externados por acadêmicos do curso de Ciências Contábeis de universidades públicas federais da região sul do Brasil. A proposta foi uma situação/problema, interpretada por meio da análise de conteúdo com o auxílio do software Atlas.ti8. Com o retorno de 28 acadêmicos, há algumas lacunas a serem preenchidas, como, por exemplo, baixo esforço em externar suas impressões primeiras, respostas curtas sem o incremento de proposições analíticas e a predominância por argumentos baseados em senso comum.

ABSTRACT

 

The insertion of behavioral theories in courses in the business area becomes the basis for conceptual, procedural and attitudinal improvements for students. Thus, the aim of the study was to analyze, from the application of the Transformative Learning Theory, the predominant aspects expressed by accounting students from public federal universities in southern Brazil. The proposal was a situation/problem, interpreted through content analysis with the help of the Atlas.ti8 software. With the return of 28 academics, there are some gaps to be filled, such as low effort to express their first impressions, short answers without the increase of analytical propositions and the predominance of arguments based on common sense.
