Abstract

Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar uma abordagem analítica da unidade lexical mão, utilizando uma metodologia de caráter bibliográfico, exploratório e qualitativo. A investigação se concentra na compreensão da construção de sentido dessa unidade lexical em diferentes contextos discursivos. A análise revelou que o significado de mão não é fixo nem estático, mas resulta de um processo dinâmico e contextual de produção de sentido. Elementos como o contexto de uso e as intenções comunicativas do falante desempenham papéis centrais na determinação dos significados atribuídos a essa palavra, evidenciando a natureza fluida e multifacetada da linguagem em uso.

ABSTRACT

This article aims to present an analytical approach to the lexical unit mão, using a bibliographic, exploratory, and qualitative methodology. The investigation focuses on understanding the construction of meaning of this lexical unit in different discursive contexts. The analysis revealed that the meaning of mão is neither fixed nor static but results from a dynamic and contextual process of meaning-making. Elements such as the context of use and the speaker's communicative intentions play central roles in determining the meanings attributed to this word, highlighting the fluid and multifaceted nature of language in use.
